ads-monitor Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

These terms govern the use of the ads-monitor application, a private tool for maintaining advertising assets through the Meta Marketing API.

1.Acceptance of terms

By configuring, deploying, or using the ads-monitor application (the “Application”), the operator agrees to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2.Description of the service

The Application is a private, self-hosted automation tool. It monitors advertising objects within advertising accounts the operator owns or is authorized to manage on Meta platforms, and performs maintenance actions — such as detecting disapproved or issue-flagged ads and duplicating, renaming, activating, or removing ads — through the official Meta Marketing API. It is not a public service and is not offered to third-party end users.

3.Authorized use

The operator may use the Application only with advertising accounts and Pages they own or are explicitly authorized to manage, and only with access tokens they are entitled to use. The operator is responsible for ensuring their use complies with Meta’s Platform Terms, Advertising Standards, and all applicable laws.

4.Acceptable use

The operator agrees not to use the Application to:

5.Account control & responsibility

The operator retains full control of their Meta assets and access tokens and may revoke the Application’s access at any time from Meta Business settings. The operator is solely responsible for the actions the Application performs under their authorization, including any resulting advertising spend once campaigns are activated by the operator.

6.No warranty

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The operator uses the Application at their own risk.

7.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application and its authors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of advertising performance, spend, data, or account standing arising from use of the Application.

8.Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the Application’s functionality or applicable requirements. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision.
